In light of the COVID-19 health concerns, we are writing to give you an update on the measures we are taking to keep you and our staff safe.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, our office is open for urgent in-person appointments only. We are offering telemedicine for many other types of dermatological appointments.
The Maryland Board of Physicians has issued mandatory guidelines that all elective and non-urgent medical procedures and in-person appointments shall cease effective at 5 p.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2020 and shall not be performed for the duration of the catastrophic health emergency.
Because of the growing concern over coronavirus (COVID-19) and the health and safety of our patients and staff, the doctors at our Greenbelt and Chevy Chase offices will be adopting this recommendation starting today, Wednesday March 25, 2020.
We understand the gravity of the above recommendation and apologize for any inconvenience that we all must undergo to halt the spread of COVID-19. If you have an appointment within the three weeks period following March 24th, our staff will be contacting you to reschedule or set up a telemedicine visit with one of our providers.
Your Dermatology team and staff will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as the situation continues to evolve.
