Irina Varzaru joins our full service dermatology team as a licensed aesthetician, offering customized medical facials , microdermabrasion and chemical peel treatments on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 5pm in our Chevy Chase office. Irina replaces Ninka B, who has moved to the Los Angeles area to be closer to her family. Ninka and Irina are friends and colleagues who possess a similar European approach to aesthetics.
Irina’s strength is her special gentle “touch” while treating skin. She prides herself on educating patients to understand the symptoms and causes of skin-related concerns and the needed daily skincare regimen to tackle problems that come from sun exposure, environmental damage, natural aging and hormonal imbalances that cause acne, rosacea, and melasma.
